UPDATED: Two steam locomotives to pass through Hemel Hempstead this Friday

Since this article was written, it has now been confirmed that only 45231 will return to Crewe, and the movement is expected to be diesel hauled

45231 The Sherwood Forester and 34046 Braunton are to pass through Hertfordshire this Friday (22nd December) as they head back to base for the Christmas holidays.

Departing Southall LSL at 08:49, the duo will pass through Southall (08:59), (09:35), Watford Junction (10:36), Hemel Hempstead (approx 10:30), (10:57), Central (11:26), (12:11), (13:24), Stafford (14:14) and Crewe at 14:58.
