Steam locomotive 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley will pass through Dawlish this Saturday (20th July 2024) as part of the English Riviera Express.

The tour originates at Bedford, where it will depart at 05:29 – it will start with diesel traction. After Bedford, the tour will pass through (05:55), (06:12), Hendon (06:37), Acton Main Line (07:03), Ealing Broadway (07:07), Slough (07:26), Maidenhead (07:35), Reading (07:58), Newbury (08:49), Castle Cary (09:44) and at 10:06.

Here, 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley is added to the train. Departing Taunton at 10:57, the train will pass through St Davids (11:39), Dawlish Warren (11:54), Dawlish (12:05), Newton Abbot (12:16), Paignton (12:35) and at 13:14.

After time in Kingswear, 60007 will depart at 16:35 and will pass through Paignton (17:21), Teignmouth (17:49), Exeter St Davids (18:19), Taunton (19:48 – diesel hauled from just outside Taunton), Bedwyn (20:59), Reading (21:44), Maidenhead (22:03), Slough (22:12), Ealing Broadway (22:29), St Albans (23:07), Luton (23:20) and Bedford at 23:45.
