What data do we collect?
We do no obtain any data from third parties. We only collect data provided by yourself and only sufficient data to allow us to provide you with the service you have requested.
Data collected for LocoStop and when placing an order,
When registering for LocoStop and when placing an order, we ask you for your name and email address in order to set up a user profile for you so that you can post onto the social network, other pieces of information are collected as security questions in order to verify you are a human and not a spam bot.
In addition, when placing an order in our online store, we will, of course, ask for your address to send the parcel to.
We may use this data to contact you with special offers on other products and services we think you might like.
We may contact you after your order to make sure everything is ok and ask if you would like to leave a review of your purchase, you can unsubscribe from review emails if you so wish.
When accepting payment for an online order, this is processed by external companies, such as Stripe or Paypal, we do not store any payment information on the RailAdvent website.
We do not share this data with anyone else.
If you subscribe to our weekly newsletter then an unsubscribe link is included at the end of the email.
