As expected, passengers travelling to the game are reminded to allow extra time for the planning and duration of their journeys because of the volume of people attending the game.

Queuing systems will be in operation at Glasgow Central as fans head out of Scotland’s largest city, while after final whistle queuing systems will be in place at both Mount Florida and Kings Park stations, this is to ensure the trains don’t become too overcrowded.

There is great rivalry between these two clubs, which has once again been highlighted recently with Celtics win of the Scottish Premiership last weekend.

Fans travelling in support of Celtic will queue for trains, on the concourse at Glasgow Central, their trains will be bound for Kings Park.

While Rangers fans leaving the same station in Glasgow will be told to queue on the carriage driveway on Hope Street and board trains heading for Mount Florida.

Once the crowds disperse after the final whistle, Celtic fans will head back to the station at Kings Park, while Rangers fans will return to Mount Florida, to board their respective trains back to Glasgow.
