Dad’s Army Live at the Classic Sitcom Weekend on the North Norfolk Railway
Passengers can travel to Sheringham before travelling to Weybourne station on the heritage Poppy Line to visit the event, which is due to take place across the first May bank holiday weekend from Saturday 4th to Monday, 6th May.
The sitcom Dad’s Army was largely filmed in Norfolk and the museum dedicated to the sitcom will be in attendance at the railway, to exhibit some memorabilia and celebrate one of Britain’s best loved sitcoms.
There will also be stage shows with special performances from Dad’s Army along with other famous British sitcoms, including Allo Allo and Hi de Hi.
Folk On The Pier, Cromer
Music and the sea have been a part of British life for many centuries, ‘the best gig on the North Sea’ has a great atmosphere and draws folk singers from different music genres from right across the UK offering a great mix of music from old favourites and new upcoming artists, this event is due to take place Friday 10th – Sunday 12th May.

The Norfolk and Norwich Festival
Another musical event in the form of a festival takes places from Friday 10th to Sunday 26th May. The Norfolk Festival takes place right across the county and in the city of Norwich.
Beaches, forests and streets are transformed by a multitude of different events and stage shows, with artists signing new songs and old favourites.
