Jordan’s Railway Simulator (JRS) has released a reskin for use with the Bossman Games’ Bulleid Light Pacific pack for Train Simulator 2021.

The reskin brings 34027 Taw Valley into the game in her short-lived livery in 34027 Hogwarts Express.

This pack is FREE and only requires you to have the Bossman Games’ Bulleid Light Pacific pack to use this addon.

What’s included in the pack?

This pack includes a reskin of 34027 Taw Valley in the Hogwarts Express livery, with is in the striking red scheme and a custom made nameplate.

Also included in the pack is, of course, the tender, which is the 5,500-gallon variant that features the Hogwarts Railways emblem.

First Impressions

Whilst there is no simple install package included in the pack, the included Read Me explains how to install the pack, and it is really simple.

Its simple to find in the scenario editor and placing down with your favourite coaches or wagons. Booting in, the reskin is of high quality and you can see a lot of effort has gone into making the reskin, its nice to see the custom nameplate and emblem on the tender.

Driving the loco is no different to the rest of the Bossman Games’ Light Pacific pack, the controls are detailed and are of high quality, this reskin is purely a visual change and does not change any physics of the loco.

Optimisation and Detail

The reskin does not impede on the optimisation of the locomotive, the level of detail is impressive and is enjoyable to take on your favourite route. We noticed no frame drops whilst using the reskin.

General Gameplay

I would have perhaps liked to have maybe seen a simple scenario included in the pack for those that don’t like to delve into the scenario editor, but for free, I can give this a look over.

We really enjoyed playing with this reskin and works great alongside the superb Bossman Games Bulleid Light Pacific pack.

Any Bad Points?

Simple answer – No! This is a really great reskin that has superb detail and is enjoyable to play.

Final Thoughts?

To summarise, this is a great reskin for use on Train Simulator 2021. It is detailed, enjoyable and fun to play around with.

Jordans Railway Simulator has definitely pulled one out of the bag here and is definitely worth picking up if you have the Bossman Games’ Bulleid Light Pacific.
