2 through platforms used for trains to King’s Lynn, Norwich, London and Peterborough aswell freights passing through Cambridge North. Whilst the bay platform is used for trains heading back to London Liverpool Street (Greater Anglia) or London King’s Cross (GTR Great Northern/Thameslink).
But at least Costa Coffee will keep the passengers and commuters happy no matter if there are delays to services on either Greater Anglia or Great Northern/Thameslink.
Plus Stansted Express could also serve Cambridge North with the new trains to start service from next year that they will operate between Norwich and Stansted Airport (Direct service).
