Booking now open for steam locomotive hauled Santa Specials at the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway

The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway have announced that booking is now open for their 2018 Santa Special trains.

The specially decorated coaches with festive music will greet you along with your steward. Your steward will check your ticket and show you to your seat. Join the train from either Oxenhope, Haworth or Keighley for a 10 mile round trip behind a steam locomotive in the beautiful Worth Valley

Santa will give each child a present and the grown-ups will get a mince pie and a seasonal drink – what better way to start the Christmas season. All Santa Specials have a buffet car for you enjoy a snack or an alcoholic drink, with entertainers on board to make sure your day is one to remember.

Your ticket is also valid on the diesel services which connect with the Santa Specials.

Below is the timetable for the Santa Special Departures. Please note, that the last train of the day, which is marked by *, is not available on the 1st, 2nd and 24th December 2018.

Fares

Online bookings are now open for you too book, email and telephone bookings will open in September.

Here are the fares for your tickets:

  • Adults & Children, 3 years of age and over – £18.50
  • Toddlers, 6 – 35 months – £9.20
  • Under 6 months – Free

However, for the first weekend, there is a 20% discount, with special fares as follows:

  • Adults & Children, 3 years of age and over – £14.80
  • Toddlers, 6 – 36 months – £7.40
  • Under 6 months – Free
