The Mid Suffolk Light Railway has released a short update on the restoration of their steam locomotive No. 1604.
The railway has made good progress on the rolling chassis of the locomotive. The railway should be in a position to test the locomotive during a visit of ‘Illingworth’ for Special Engine Month.
This opportunity to see locomotives 1208 and 1604 is irresistible, both restored Hudswell Clarke locomotives running on the line will be a treat for both photographers and Middy fans.
This step in the restoration is another step forward in the revival of the Mid Suffolk Light Railway.
