Merseyrail has announced that the new ticket office at Ainsdale railway station will open on Wednesday 2 May 2018.
To assist with the transition between the temporary ticket office and the new building, there will be no ticket selling facilities at the station between Monday 30th April and Tuesday 1st May 2018.
Revenue Protection Officers, of RPOs, will be at this station at certain times throughout the closure.
However, Merseyrail is advising passengers to buy tickets in advance or at their destination station.
