The Class 504 Preservation Society have announced that they have been offered 16 weeks undercover accommodation at the East Lancashire Railway.
The accommodation is at the locomotive works at Baron Street rather than the 2 weeks at Castlecroft as originally booked.
A safety plan for the working at height has been submitted to the railway and has been approved.
The trailer car is to move into the works week commencing the 23rd April 2018.
Simon Thomas and Paul are nominated team leaders during this period inside.
If any current East Lancashire Railway working members who can help at any point, they will be made very welcome (especially anyone with welding skills and has access to a PAT tested welder).
