The Gwilli Steam Railway, in South Wales, has today announced that, due to unforeseen maintenance work, they will be train services cancelled during their half term running.
The affected trips are on Tuesday the 20th February 2018, where the trip at 3 pm will be cancelled. Their midday services at 11 am and 1 pm are unaffected.
Update 17:30 on 19th February 2018: The railway will now be fully open on Wednesday, with just the 3 pm service on the Tuesday being affected. (We previously reported: The railway will be shut, with all services cancelled for one day on Wednesday the 21st February 2018, before reopening on Thursday 22nd February 2018).

Due to the winter maintenance plan, the railway has offered passengers with the offer of children go free during Half Term, with children also receiving a free goodie bag.
The cancellations are due to that not all of the railway’s site is available for safety and maintenance reasons. The railway may have a shortened stop at Llwyfan so you can see the site and use the toilet facilities.
The shop, Café, and the museum will be open at Bronwydd.
