The Merchant Navy Locomotive Preservation Society has announced that their locomotive, 35028 Clan Line, will be operating a Railway Touring Company tour later this month.
On Saturday, 21st August 2021, the Merchant Navy will haul The Cotswold Venturer from London Paddington to Worcester Shrub Hill.
35028 will pick up passengers at Slough, Reading and Didcot Parkway for passengers wanting to board the train for a day out in Worcester.
This is the first time in 11 years that 35028 Clan Line has operated with West Coast Railways Co., when she worked in Kent with 44932 when Clan Line stood in at late notice for 45305.
Normally, 35028 Clan Line can be seen operating the Belmond British Pullman around the south, and is operated by DB Cargo UK.
Tickets for the tour start at £99 per adult, and tickets can be booked here on the Railway Touring Company website.
