West Coast Railways has announced that they have been able to extend The Jacobite season further into the year.

The Jacobite will now run until the 13th November 2020!

This means that there is more chance to experience what West Coast Railways call the ‘Greatest Railway Journey In The World’ from Fort William to Mallaig.

Jacobite trains are now fully operated by LMS Black 5s from the Ian Riley fleet, consisting of 45212, 44871 and 45407 ‘The Lancashire Fusilier’.

The Morning Service will operate, though the afternoon service has finished for the season. With steep gradients and stunning scenery, this really is a train journey to add to your bucket list.

Prices for The Jacobite are £43 for Adults and £26 for Children for a return journey from Fort William to Mallaig. Your chance to travel over the Glenfinnan Viaduct (made famous through the Harry Potter film series).
