TransPennine Express has announced that they have received a ‘We’re Good To Go’ accreditation from Visit Britain.
From the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic, TransPennine Express has worked to keep passengers safe, through various measures and enhanced cleaning regimes.
Alongside this, the operator has been looking to promote the areas served by their train services through Social Media staycations.
Lisa Hewitt, Partnership Marketing Manager for TransPennine Express said: “We are delighted that we have gained the ‘We’re Good to Go accreditation from Visit Britain. This is the culmination of a lot of hard work across our business and we’re grateful for their hard work in helping us gain this accreditation.
“Covid-19 has been very challenging for everyone and it has required many different teams to come together to ensure that our customers can travel safely with us. This acknowledgement from Visit Britain will hopefully boost customer confidence in TPE and enable many more people to go out and explore what the North of England and Scotland has to offer.”
