WATCH: 8 steam locomotives in action at the KWVRs 2020 Spring Steam Gala


Sunday 8th March saw the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway host their annual Spring Steam Gala.

Over the weekend of the 6th, 7th & 8th March 2019. This years gala featured one guest engine being GWR Large Prairie No. 4144 visiting from Didcot Railway Centre courtesy of the Great Western Society. 

This gala was a busy gala featuring passenger trains, freight trains, & the very popular non-stop express.

The express on 8th March being hauled by Large Prairie No. 4144 non-stop from Keighley to Haworth.

  1. I just checked out the trailer for this DVD Product, Which featured cracking footage taken during that weekend’s steam gala, I do enjoyably like the theme music included at both start and end of said DVD Programme.

    I do hope this’ll help to expert fund/fundraise the KWVR’s appeal to help combat/fight back this dreary pandemic period.

    Good Luck to the KWVR ocne again on said appeal and this DVD Programme too.
