POLICE APPEAL: Woman sexually assaulted at Glasgow Central

The British Transport Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was sexually assaulted at Glasgow Central.

The incident happened at 4pm on Thursday 6 February.

A man is reported to have sexually assaulted the woman by grabbing her.

He is described as white, average build and with short fair or greying hair.

He was wearing a dark rain jacket, blue coloured fleece, dark trousers and carried a rucksack on his back.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident. They would especially like to speak to a woman who comforted the victim and said she had witnessed the offence but did not leave her details.

Witnesses can contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40. In both cases, quote reference number 410 of 06/02/20.
