Transport for Wales has announced that the Conwy Valley line is to be closed until July 2019.
This means that buses will have to replace trains between Llandudno Junction and Blaenau Ffestiniog until further notice
Heavy rain caused significant flooding at several locations on the Conwy Valley line on Saturday 16th March. Photos of the damage caused to the line can be viewed here

There is currently no estimate for when repairs can be completed due to a large amount of work required. It is, however, anticipated the line will remain closed until at least July 2019.
