The A1 Steam Locomotive Trust has announced that the roundabout Tornado has visited Darlington Works recently.

The mini-Tornado has graced a traffic island in Darlington and was in need of a bit of TLC.

This Tornado lookalike came into the works for a heavy general and to make a visit to the paint shop.

The home of this locomotive has now seen its centre-piece return home after its trip to the locomotive works.

However, there’s no need to worry, the construction of 2007 Prince of Wales has not been delayed by this visit.
