The South Devon Railway has announced that a full-size replica of a Spitfire will be visiting the line for their 1940s Festival.
The Spitfire is modelled on EN398, which is the personal aircraft of W/Cdr Johnny Johnson D.F.C. The aircraft will be visiting for the whole weekend, which is the 7th and 8th July 2018.
The aircraft has an original cockpit and a working WWII Rolls Royce engine, which you can hear startup during the event.
