Those wishing to travel to the Plymouth Argyle vs Bolton Wanderers at Wembley on the 2nd April by train must have a seat reservation to board trains.
Due to the high volumes of people making the journey, Great Western Railway is highlighting to passengers that direct trains from Plymouth to London before and after the match are reservation only. Those without any reservations will be unable to board such trains.
Direct trains leaving Plymouth before 11:15am and direct trains departing London Paddington after 18:00pm are reservation only with no exception.
Those who aren't attending the match are advised to find alternative travel times or routes where possible.

- Saturday 1 April: Following the suspension of strike action, trains will run as normal on this day, allowing fans to travel early.
- The majority of trains on Sunday morning are fully reserved, passengers should travel on the Saturday if they do not have a reservation for the Sunday.
- A queuing system will be in place at both London Paddington and Plymouth, to help ensure the safety of customers.
- Passengers at Plymouth should allow extra time at the station for ticket checks
- Those travelling from Cornwall, there is only one train on Sunday morning from stations in Cornwall will arrive in time for kick-off. The only train back to Cornwall after the match leaves at 1803 which will not be useable should the match go to extra time.
Those looking to make a reservation for a train can do so at GWR.com. You will then be prompted to book a seat reservation, which is free. You can also book at a ticket office.
If you already have a ticket and need a reservation you can contact Great Western Railway on Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger. They can add a seat reservation for you when provided with proof of a purchased ticket, or again this can be done at a station.
Great Western Railway are advising that if trains become fully booked to travel before or after the 2nd April, travel on a service which is not reservation only or to start the journey at another station such as Bristol Parkway, Bristol Temple Meads or Weston-super-Mare.
Fans can travel to Wembley using the Bakerloo line, which runs directly from London Paddington or the Metropolitan line or Chiltern Railways.
