The , in Ferry Meadows Country Park, , have advertised their 0-4-0 steam locomotive for sale.

Because of retirement, David Coging says that they have sold the railway and the new owner is not interested in operating a steam locomotive.

Built by Mr Hall of Peterborough, the locomotive, a scale version of a Darjeeling B Class, is fitted with a compressor and is seen in a green livery with yellow pin stripe, as the Darjeeling B Class would have been in 1913.

Since being completed in 2012, the locomotive has covered approximately 9000 miles at the Ferry Meadows Railway. The locomotive is tested up to 24th April 2022 and is ready to run now.

The boiler was replaced with a new one in 2016, having been originally built with a second hand boiler off Dougle, which is based at the Evesham Vale Railway. There are 4 years left on its 10 year ticket.

David Coging says that they are looking for £60,000 for the locomotive. If you are interested, please contact David on Facebook
