Sunday 7 April

Services will be running on Sunday, 7 April, but certain routes and services may be affected by planned engineering works and industrial action. In particular, services on the East Coast Main Line between London and are expected to be very busy.

The industrial action will also affect other train operators, but on different days.

Anyone intending to travel by train during the period of industrial action should check their plans before they travel at www.nationalrail.co.uk.

It will affect a number of sporting and leisure events, and football fans should plan ahead to find other ways to reach their games.

We're really sorry for the this will have on our customers, especially as it coincides with the Easter school holidays.

I strongly urge customers to check every journey, every day, from Thursday 4 April until Tuesday 9 April, so they aren't caught out.

No two days will be the same, so please plan all of your journeys carefully, including any connections with other operators, in advance at nationalrail.co.uk, and once again before you leave.
