UPDATE: Avanti West Coast has said a train as hit a person on the line.

Trains this evening are being disrupted after a train hit an obstruction between Rugby and Milton Keynes Central.

All lines are blocked currently, with trains being delayed.

Disruption is expected until 21:30

London North Western Railway have ticket acceptance in place with:

  • Avanti West Coast
  • Chiltern Railways
  • CrossCountry
  • East Midlands Railway
  • London Overground
  • London Underground

Trains are being disrupted by up to 60 minutes or are being cancelled.

Avanti West Coast has ticket acceptance in place with Chiltern Railways between London Marylebone and Birmingham Moor Street as well as West Midlands Railway between Birmingham New Street and London Euston

Avanti West Coast has said on their website that a train has hit a person.

Emergency services are currently dealing with the incident

Disruption is now expected until the end of service tonight.

Trains are being disrupted and disruption expected until 21:30

A train has hit an obstruction between Rugby and Milton Keynes Central on the West Coast Main Line.
