The second update from the project this month, we see the progress being made on building the tender for the new build Hawksworth County at Didcot Railway Centre.

Computer Aided Design (CAD)

Work on the tender is currently in the early stages. As the 4-6-0 Counties featured a wider tender than other Great Western Railway tender engines.

None of these has been preserved, the Project are having drawings converted into a 3D CAD model.

From here, the model can be used to order the correct sized components for the tender.
