There are 103 wagons in the limited-edition range, and each wagon will be accompanied by a uniquely numbered Ltd Edition certificate.

They have been produced for the Trust by model railway manufacturer Dapol, but are only available from The 2874 Trust, and all profits will go towards restoring the 1918-built Great Western Railway 2-8-0 steam locomotive No. 2874.

Two versions are available, each with a load of coal. One version is in a clean condition, and the other is lightly weathered. They each cost £19.50 each plus Post & Packing,

The trust still has a few Dinmore Quarry wagons available, liveried as ‘Dinmore Limestone Quarry, Penmon, Isle of Anglesey'. However, ‘Foster & Co'. box vans that were the previous limited-edition models have now all sold out.

The 2874 Trust

The 2874 Trust was set up as a to promote the training and development of heritage mechanical engineering using steam locomotive No. 2874 as a learning platform.

After the restoration of 2874 has been completed, it is hoped that it will once more be seen in operation along the lines of Britain's heritage railways.

The OO gauge 4 mm scale Summers wagons are available from the 2874 Trust at shows and galas or from its online shop at https://www.peoplesfundraising.com/shop/exclusive-2874-trust-products
