East Midlands Railway named as Top Employer for eighth year running

Following its recognition last year, East Midlands Railway (EMR) has secured certification as an outstanding employer committed to people-oriented practice for the eighth consecutive year.

The recognition as a Top Employer for 2024 came from the Top Employers Institute programme, which certifies organisations based on their participation in its HR Best Practices Survey and the results that it produces. The programme has worldwide recognition, with more than 2,300 Top Employers being certified and recognised in 121 countries and regions across five continents.

Through being certified as a Top Employer East Midlands Railway's dedication to a better world of work is highlighted, and is shown by the company's excellent HR policies and people practices.

Six HR domains are included in the Top Employers Institute survey which covers 20 topics including the important ones of People Strategy, Work Environment, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and Wellbeing, as well as others.
