The ‘Middy' might be known as 's only standard-gauge heritage railway with many secrets of its own from its veritable past. But it still seeks to unveil yet more artefacts which are steeped in history.

The Mid-Suffolk Light Railway is set to stage its well-established Vintage and Bygones Fair and Exhibition on Sunday 26 November and is calling anyone who has any interest in early mechanical and electrical objects – works of art, of course, in their own right – to beat a track to their next event which is to take place on Sunday 26 November.

While railway memorabilia might be uppermost in the minds of those attending, there will be many more items on show linked to the history of  ‘Middy' which will, of course, be available for purchase.

These comprise items such as musical boxes, planetary clocks, lighting and oil lamps, stoves and cookers, model trains from clockwork to steam, vintage clothing and much more, all in keeping with the carefully composed ‘Middy' style of an Edwardian country railway.

But it is just not all about an antiques fair. Visitors will be able to ride the trains as often as they wish.  The original Railway Victorian four-wheeled coaches, running on the day, will  provide a unique experience for any passengers.
