Yorkshire and Lancashire rail passengers help prevent 5m kgs of Carbon Dioxide from entering atmosphere

Emission savings have been revealed by for the 25 most popular commuter routes.

In total, the 25 routes helped prevent up to 5.49 million kg of carbon dioxide from entering the atmosphere when compared to the same journey being made by car.
