Greater Anglia Service Disruption Due to Trade Union Action

passengers are advised to stay informed and check their travel plans between July 3 and July 8 due to action short of a strike called by the trade union. Cancellations are expected on multiple routes during this period, and passengers need to review the provided list of affected services.

The trade union has also announced three 24-hour strikes on July 20, 22, and 29. Regular updates regarding service disruptions will be available on the Greater Anglia website.

Impact of ASLEF Trade Union Action:

From Monday, July 3, to Friday, July 7, the following services will be cancelled each day:

Action Short of a Strike on July 8:

On Saturday, July 8, action short of a strike will also impact services. Once confirmed, specific details regarding affected trains will be communicated on the Greater Anglia website. Regular services are expected to resume on Sunday, July 9.

Jamie Burles, Greater Anglia managing director, said: “While most services will be running as normal during the period affected by action short of a strike, there will be some cancellations across our network. “We are sorry for any inconvenience caused by these service alterations and advise customers to plan ahead and check before they travel. “The rail industry is working hard to resolve the current disputes and reach an agreement.”
