London North Eastern Railway has launched its ‘Deal Finder' as a feature on its LNER mobile app and aims to bring ideas and inspiration to customers for value getaways.

The Deal Finder is the rail operator's latest update for its mobile app making it much easier and smarter for planning of trips and short breaks. The app provides customers with the ability to set a budget and provides a list of destinations based on this offering the lowest possible fares.
On making the choice of which station to travel from, customers are able to select from a range of dates and times or set their own preferences, the Deal Finder will then work its magic, revealing a list of destinations at great value prices right across London North Eastern Railways huge 956-mile route. Deals can be found for both single and return travel using the rail operator's service in either Standard or First Class.

From June 2021, London North Eastern Railway took a lead over the share of the air market with an impressive 59.7% of journeys between Edinburgh and London.
The Deal Finder feature on the LNER mobile app is expected to enhance the operator's growing success in encouraging more people to travel by train, supporting rail recovery and sustainable travel.
The Office of Rail and Road's recently released figures have also revealed that London North Eastern Railway has seen passenger journeys achieve 105% compared to the same (pre-pandemic) period in 2019, demonstrating the rail operator's commitment to welcoming more customers back to rail travel.
The LNER APP is also an award winner after being given the App of the Year Award at the 2022 UK Business Tech Awards. The app allows customers to sign up for live journey updates, personalised notifications alongside One-Click Delay Repay. App users who wish to change their travel plans or upgrade to First Class can also do this easily. The app also allows fee-free seat reservations to be made up to five minutes before the train's planned departure time.
The LNER App is free to download and also gives customers £5 credit for signing up for the rail operator's popular loyalty scheme – LNER Perks which sees customers earn 2% credit on bookings to use with future travel. The scheme now has over half a million members.
