Steam locomotive 34046 Braunton and 70000 Britannia to take part in London to Oxenholme Lake District tour

70000 Britannia is to make a visit to this Tuesday (27th September) , taking passengers to the Lake District as part of a holiday.

Departing Victoria behind 34046 Braunton at 08:00, the tour will pass through (08:18), (09:02), (09:19), (09:50), Rugby (10:26), (11:22), (11:41), and at 12:15, where the 70000 Britannia takes over.

With 70000 Britannia now on the train, the tour will depart at 13:02 and will pass through Bank Quay (13:40), (14:06), (14:40), (15:11), (16:06), (16:31), (17:05), (17:28), Armathwaite (18:17), Penrith North Lakes (19:24) and Oxenholme Lake District at 19:54.

Once passengers are off on their way into the Lake District, the train will return to Crewe via (20:21), Preston (21:27), (22:13), Acton Bridge (22:52), and Crewe at 23:20.
