Children from Leeds Childrens Hospital to head to Old Trafford this weekend thanks to Northern

are set to host children from Children's Hospital this weekend.

Nineteen children from the hospital will be special guests a this weekend's Betfred Super League Grand Final, which is set to take place on the 24th September 2022.

Accompanied by NHS staff and their parents, the children will travel to Old Trafford to see Leeds Rhinos take on St Helens thanks to Super League and rail operator, Northern.

In addition to watching the match, the children will receive a special Robbie Burrows shirt and their parents will receive a copy of Robbie's book – Too Many Reasons To Live.

Tony Baxter, regional director of Northern, said: “We have established a great relationship with Leeds Children's Hospital and through our partnership with Betfred Super League we were delighted to be able to give the children and their parents an extra special day out.”

Rhodri Jones, chief commercial officer of Super League, said “We are pleased to be able to offer the children, parents, and staff of Leeds Children Hospital a special invitation to the 25th Betfred Super League Grand Final. We also would like to extend our thanks to our partners Northern and Leeds Rhinos for helping to make this special moment happen”.
