Steam locomotive 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley to visit Chester this Monday

60007 Sir Nigel Gresley is returning to the mainline this Monday as it operates a light engine test run on the LSL circuit.

The LNER A4 is expected to operate 2 round trips between and on Monday as its return to the mainline begins.

Departing Crewe HS at 09:00, the first round trip will see the A4 pass through Crewe (09:39), Beeston Castle (10:14) and Chester at 10:26 and 11:05. 60007 will return to Crewe departing Chester at 11:10 and passing through Beeston Castle at 11:25 and Crewe at 12:39.

The second round trip will depart Crewe at 13:30, passing through Beeston Castle at 13:49 and Chester at 14:01 and 14:38. 60007 will return to Crewe departing Chester at 15:06 and passing through Beeston Castle at 15:22 and Crewe at 15:39.
