GB Railfreight unveils new livery for Class 66 locomotive in support of Ukraine

has unveiled a new look for Class 66 No. 66708.

Unveiled at Eastleigh today, 6th April 2022, the Class 66 has also been named ‘Glory to Ukraine'.

GBRf is one of the largest and fastest growing freight operators in the UK and already have a number of special liveried locomotives, including 66779 ‘Evening Star', 66789 in its BR Large Logo livery and Biffa-liveried Class 66 66783.

The latest livery is to show support to Ukraine, honouring the country's people who are affected by the current conflict.

A GBRf spokesperson said “GBRf stands with Ukraine and this newly painted locomotive honours the people affected by the conflict as they continue to courageously defend their homeland.”
