The Alliance has announced that both 50007 and 50049 will receive new liveries this year.

Back in March 2019, it was announced that both 50007 and 50049 would receive corporate GB Railfreight liveries.

However, it is now time for a change and will see both liveries turned out in BR Large Logo livery.

Bodywork repairs have begun at Kidderminster on the Severn Valley Railway in preparation for the livery change, which will take place at Eastleigh.

The last time to see the two 50s in GBRf colours will be the Pathfinder Tours' The Mazey Day Cornishman on the 29th June.

We have been proud of 50007 & 50049 wearing the striking livery of GBRf for past five years, since their unveiling at Eastleigh in March 2019, but now it is time for a change, and we know the large logo livery is a very popular choice for many of the locomotive's admirers.
