The Auction for 2022 sees 50 extraordinary and incredible experiences that money cannot buy and all of the money raised will support railway workers and their families who are experiencing difficult times.

The online Auction has seen several new experiences added, including:

  • A VIP Hovercraft Experience in the Solent – The experience is for a group of up to 6 people and features a behind the scenes look at the world's longest operational hovercraft service. The experience will also provide an opportunity to meet the Pilots and crew and learn how these incredible machines work as you fly across the Solent.
  • A Luxury Day Trip for Two on the – The day trip is at leisure and for two with the winner enjoying sparkling Bellini, a three-course brunch, morning tea and coffee, an afternoon at leisure at your destination of choice, a champagne reception, canapes, a delicious four-course dinner, coffee and petit fours with a bottle of wine per couple.
  • Arterio Simulator for Two – This experience provides a chance to test-drive 's innovative new Arterio train. Two people can visit the Arterio simulator in giving a money can't buy experience driving the virtual train in all conditions.

The Auction sees plenty of other adventures up for grabs, some of which include:

  • A day with Pete Waterman to enjoy playing on trains at his vast model railway
  • Behind the Scenes VIP access to various ROCs
  • The chance to make an announcement at Euston Station
  • A ride on 's famous helicopter
  • A visit to the Dog School
  • A chance to drive a London Routemaster Bus!

  • And when is South Western Railway actually going to start allowing the Class 701 Arterios in passenger service. It’s been such a while that these new trains were being manufactured at Alstom (Bombardier) Derby train manufacturing plant in Derby, East Midlands.
