Simon Scott has set up a new fundraiser for Sarcoma UK, which is a charity that aims to support people who have or know someone who has Sarcoma, a bone and soft tissue cancer.

Simon is aiming to walk 100 miles in 30 days and has so far raised £1,700 for the charity, which is close to his heart.

You may have seen Simon out on your adventures if you have been out to see LMS Duchess No. 6233 Duchess of Sutherland out on the mainline – he is Chief Mechanical Engineer at the Princess Royal Locomotive Class Trust and is also a fireman for 6233 Duchess of Sutherland.

Simon said “I am absolutely blown away with all of your support and love, the amount raised so far is absolutely amazing and you will never know how much this means”

If you can donate towards his appeal, any amount would be gratefully received. If you would like to donate, you can do so by visiting his Facebook Fundraising Page.

Sarcoma UK aims to spread the awareness of Sarcoma and fund research into the cancer.
