Steam locomotive 70000 Britannia will be back on the mainline for the first time since overhaul this Wednesday as it heads back to .

The locomotive has been at the Severn Valley Railway undergoing testing after its recent overhaul.

Departing the Severn Valley Railway at 11:18, the locomotive will pass through Blakedown (11:26), Stourbridge Junction (11:32), Penkridge (13:56), Stafford (14:04) and Crewe at 14:38.
