On Monday, 17 January, will introduce a new weekday timetable because of the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic.

In recent weeks there has been an increase in staff sickness rates due to the pandemic. Although the new timetable cuts some services, it will allow c2c to provide passengers with a more reliable service, and also enable the company to save taxpayers' money since passenger demand has fallen significantly in recent weeks.

This new timetable will apply until further notice. The full download can be downloaded here.

At the moment there are no changes to the standard weekend services. However, Network Rail undertaking an extensive long-term engineering project to upgrade overhead power lines on c2c's route. This will help improve the reliability of the infrastructure and reduce the risk of delays to journeys.

Although the engineering work will primarily be undertaken late at night or over the weekend, when there are normally fewer people travelling, they may cause some disruption to individual passengers' journeys. Further information about the project, as well as details of service alterations will be available at the following website as soon as they are confirmed https://www.c2c-online.co.uk/our-network/timetables-and-service-alterations/
