Steam locomotive 46115 Scots Guardsman to haul York to Edinburgh tour this Saturday

Steam locomotive 46115 Scots Guardsman is returning to the mainline on Saturday, as it hauls The Edinburgh Christmas Market tour from York to Edinburgh.

The tour will depart York at 06:02 and will pass through Thirsk (06:30), Northallerton (06:38), Darlington (06:54), Durham (07:31), Newcastle (07:53), Morpeth (08:39), Alnmouth (09:22), Berwick-upon-Tweed (10:02), Dunbar (11:34), Prestonpans (12:06) and Edinburgh at 12:20.

After time exploring the Christmas Markets, passengers will board for a 15:40 departure. 46115 will then pass through Prestonpans (16:01), Dunbar (16:36), Berwick (17:05), Alnmouth (18:24), Morpeth (19:12), Newcastle (19:32), Durham (19:58), Darlington (20:27), Thirsk (20:49) and York at 21:28.
