Beamish, the living museum of the North are offering special video calls to Father Christmas from the comfort of your own home.
Sat by a cosy fireside in his festive Edwardian cottage at the museum, Father Christmas will be chatting to children about their wish list on video calls.
Families can also take the opportunity to invite other family members or friends to join them for the magical video call, even those who lived in other parts of the world, to enjoy a special festive moment together.
As the video call is a virtual experience, it is designed to be enjoyed from the comfort of your own home and therefore does not include a visit to the Beamish Museum.
Lasting up to 10 minutes, video calls cost £20 and can include up to four children with an extra £2 for each additional child. Calls are available to book for the weekends of the 11th & 12th and the 18th & 19th of December, extra dates may be added if these become booked up.
