On Saturday the 16th of October at 11.43am, officers and paramedics were called to Mauldeth Road railway station after reports of a casualty on the tracks. Sadly Bethany was pronounced dead at the scene.
Bethany's family said:
“On Saturday morning our lives changed forever. Our precious girl grew her wings. Her mind and body are at peace now and will live in our hearts forever. Thank you to everyone who has paid tribute to Bethany. Thank you for the flowers and cards especially them left at Mauldeth Road station. Please respect our privacy at this sad time to help us come to terms with our loss. We will always miss her cheeky smile, witty humour and thoughtfulness. The light has gone out in our lives.”
A file is being prepared for the coroner, with the incident not being treated as suspicious.
