Steam locomotive 35028 Clan Line to depart London Victoria this Friday

Steam locomotive 35028 Clan Line will be back in steam on the mainline and will be in London and Woking on Friday 10th September 2021.

The Merchant Navy locomotive is on a special railtour. 35028 is hauling ‘The Belmond British Pullman’ railtour on Friday.

The steam locomotive will depart London Victoria at approximately 11:45.

The railtour will then head for Chertsey, where it will steam through West Brompton (12:07), Kensington Olympia (12:11), Shepherds Bush (12:13), South Acton (12:44), Brentford (13:00), Hounslow (13:05), Feltham (13:11), Staines (13:18) and Chertsey at 13:33

After a break in Chertsey, 35028 Clan Line will depart at 13:49; it will then steam through Byfleet and New Haw (13:56), Woking (14:04), Guildford (14:18), Shalford (14:26), Gomshall (14:35) before passing through Redhill (14:55). The locomotive will steam back to London Victoria non-stop, steaming through East Croydon (15:12), Selhurst (15:15) and Clapham Junction (15:32).

35028 Clan Line will make its final destination of London Victoria at 16:11.
