Steam train to depart London Paddington this Sunday

Steam locomotive No.61306 Mayflower will be back in steam on the mainline and will be in London and Oxford on Sunday 22nd August 2021.

The B1 locomotive is hauling a Steam Dreams Excursion from London Paddington to Stratford-upon-Avon.

The locomotive will depart London Paddington at 09:44 and will then pass through Southall (09:58), Slough (10:08), Maidenhead (10:18), Reading (10:33), Oxford (11:11), Heyford (11:54), Banbury (12:25), Leamington Spa (12:48), Warwick (12:53) and Stratford-upon-Avon at 13:26.

The return journey will see Mayflower depart Stratford-upon-Avon at 17:19 and will then head back to London Paddington via the same outbound route, running through Hatton (17:37), Warwick (17:45), Leamington Spa (17:55), Banbury (18:22), Oxford (18:52), Goring & Streatley (19:39), Reading (19:51), Twyford (20:03), Maidenhead (20:10), Slough (20:18), Acton West (20:45) and London Paddington at 20:56
