Steam locomotive 35028 Clan Line set to depart London Paddington this Saturday

Steam locomotive 35028 Clan Line will be back in steam on the mainline, and will be in London and Worcester on Saturday 21st August 2021.

The Merchant Navy locomotive is on a special railtour with 35028 hauling ‘The Cotswold Venturer' railtour on Saturday.

The steam locomotive will depart at approximately 07:09 am.

The railtour will then head for Worcester, passing through Southall (07:25), Slough (07:36), Maidenhead (07:49), Twyford (07:57), Reading (08:05), Goring & Streatley (08:44), Didcot Parkway (08:55), Oxford (10:21), Moreton-in-Marsh (11:03) and Worcester Shrub Hill (11:41).

After a few hours in Worcester, 35028 Clan Line will steam out of Shrub Hill at 16:32 and will pass through Cheltenham Spa (17:04), Kemble (17:56), Swindon (18:24), Didcot Parkway (19:09), Reading (19:48), Maidenhead (20:10), Slough (20:18), West Ealing (20:46) and London Paddington at 21:07.
