The has announced that they have postponed their reopening plans.

Following on from the decision to postpone the next stage of easing Coronavirus lockdown restrictions, the heritage centre has decided that they will postpone reopening until Saturday 31st July 2021 at the earliest.

They are planning to monitor the situation both nationally and locally and will confirm a reopening date as soon as possible.

Opened in 1987, the Crewe Heritage Centre is home to the Intercity APT-P which is still the record holder for the fastest run from London to Scotland, although Avanti West Coast came close to beating the record earlier this month.
