After a five-month closure, Amberley Museum will once again open its doors on Wednesday 19th May 2021.
The museum, set across 36-acres, is in the heart of the South Downs National Park and is eager to reopen with its refurbished nature trails and 2021 events calendar.
A wide selection of exhibitions and activities await you at the Amberley Museum, whether you're looking for steam engines, classic cars or vintage buses.
The popular Steampunk Weekend makes a return this Summer, as well as a new James Bond weekend after the museum was used as a filming location for A View To A Kill.
As well as these, family-focussed events will also be held. The first Industrial Trains Day is due to held on the 23rd May, where a steam train will haul passengers for the first time in six months.
COVID-19 measures are in place to keep visitors and staff safe, and the museum has also received a ‘We're Good To Go' to confirm it is following guidelines.
The Museum is open 10 am – 4:30 pm, Wednesdays – Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays.
Amberley also has a cafe that will serve hot food and refreshments with seating outside, and you are welcome to bring a picnic.
