Steam locomotive 62005 to pass through Middlesbrough this Monday

This Monday, 19th April 2021, will see Ex-LNER K1 No. 62005 back out on the mainline once again, this time, heading from on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway to High Wapping Sidings.

This light engine movement is to allow the locomotive to head back to Fort William in readiness for The Jacobite season.

Departing Grosmont at 07:48, the locomotive will pass through Glaisdale (08:02), (08:46), (10:27), Middlesborough (10:49), (12:50), (13:26), (14:13), (15:00), (15:32), (15:57), Carlisle (16:31) and Carlisle High Wapping Sidings at 16:39.

Note: 62005 will run tender first between Battersby and Tees New Yard, where it will then be smokebox first to Carlisle High Wapping Sidings. 0Z20 is the turning move to allow smokebox first running to Carlisle
