Steam locomotives No.45212 and 45407 ‘The Lancashire Fusilier' will be back in steam on the mainline and will be in Carlisle and Rannoch on Monday 12th April 2021.
The Black 5 locomotives are on an empty carriage stock movement from Carnforth Steamtown to Fort William J Yard TC, in preparation for this years Jacobite season.
Please Note: A Class 37 locomotive may lead the consist to Fort William.
The steam locomotives will depart the Carnforth Steamtown at approximately 04:26 and will then pass through Carnforth (04:51), Oxenholme Lake District (06:31), Tebay (06:47), Penrith North Lakes (07:09), Carlisle (07:31), Lockerbie (09:19), Carstairs (10:34), Shieldmuir (10:51), Motherwell (10:56), Coatbridge Central (11:27), Dalmuir (13:28), Dumbarton Central (13:41), Helensburgh Upper (15:10), Garelochhead (15:29), Arrochar & Tarbet (15:58), Ardlui (16:20), Crianlarich (16:44), Upper Tyndrum (17:50), Bridge of Orchy (18:09), Rannoch (18:40), Tulloch (19:19), Spean Bridge (19:41) and Fort William J Yard TC at 20:13.
